1 - Sump mount arms

Allow holder vertical adjustment 0 - 15 cm in five 3 cm steps. Each arm is mounted on the holder by means of 2 dogs and 2 M6 plastic bolts.

2 - Chamber holder

The holder consists of following parts:

Special inoculation chamber

Small bacterial propagation unit keeps the ANN 9505 BioCat catalyst in constant motion and ensures optionally required aeration. The chamber is not a reactor - its role is permanent inoculation and colonization of the tank (live rocks, sand beds or even man-made porous media) with all required nitrification and denitrification bacteria strains. The chamber serves well for the tanks of all sizes up to several thousand litres.

ANN 9505 BioCat

Original worldwide patented carrier mixed biological catalyst with Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter, Nitrospira and Paracoccus bacteria strains. Permanent inoculation of the tank with required bacteria ensures quick transformation of ammonia in nitrite and subsequently nitrate. (Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter and Nitrospira), denitrification process then follows (Paracoccus)

Readily utilizable chemical energy supply and source of essential mineral nutrition for bacteria. Liquid preparation ensuring highest bacteria propagation rate.

Air pump extension is fixed by means of two M6 plastic screws and connected to the coupling on the bottom of the chamber.
